Event - A Visit to Ash End House Farm

Years 3 and 4 went on a trip to Ash End House Farm as part of our Food and Farming topic.
During our visit we learnt lots about animals, farming and healthy eating. Although the weather was very cold, we had a fantastic time and even managed to have a picnic outside.
We got to see, feed and even hold lots of farm animals. Each child was given a fresh egg to take home and cook. We learnt a lot about how the animals need to be looked after as well as the different products we get from each animal.
