Paget Primary School, Paget Road, Pype Hayes, Birmingham

Event - World Book Week

27 February to 2 March 2012

In Paget we celebrated Book Week in style. Years 1 to 6 learnt about 'Alice In Wonderland' whilst Foundation read 'The Little Red Hen'.

In Year 1, they designed their own teapots for the Mad Hatter's tea party.

In Year 2, they made a map of Wonderland so if they fall down a rabbit hole they won't get lost!

In Year 3, they had a Mad Hatter's tea party for which they made hats and decorated cakes.

Year 4, also made cakes.

Both Reception classes made talking books about 'The Little Red Hen' and Nursery added actions to the story.

Year 5 and 6 went to Wonderland and wrote 'eat me drink me' poems.

Miss Nussey said: "I enjoyed seeing the look on the children's faces when they were in wonderland".
